CONTECH's Category 6A S/FTP cables exceed Category 6A / Class E A specification. It is tested to 500 MHz frequency range and designed to support 10 Gigabyte applications to full 100 m. Extremely high pair-balance providing excellent EMC (Electro Magnetic compatibility), minimizing radiation, maximizing noise immunity and providing high alien cross talk performance to F/FTP cabling systems. S/FTP (Twisted Pair – overall shielded and individual Foil shield) cabling systems are installed for improved Alien Cross talk performance.

- S-FTP: Each pair is individually shielded, and an overall Foil shield reduces crosstalk and EMI (electromagnetic interference).
- Suitable for Power over Ethernet applications (PoE/PoE+/4PPoE) according to IEEE 802.3af, IEEE ,802.3at and 802.3bt Type 4 (PoE++)up to 90W.
- The optional outer LSZH jacket is flame-retardant and produces minimal smoke and zero halogen gases during combustion.
